An ideal surfing spot for beginners and intermediates right on Hono'apiilani Highway, Puamana Beach boasts gentle waves that break close to the shore. Puamana is located 10 minutes from Lahaina and Kaanapali resorts and 25 minutes from Kihei, Makena and Wailea resorts. Surf lessons are held 200 yards south of Puamana Beach Park, across from mile marker 19 on the highway.
The beautiful Ukumehame Beach on the Hono'apiilani Highway near Lahaina has long, gentle waves and the water is only a few feet deep, making it an ideal spot for beginners and intermediate surfers. Ukumehame is about 15 minutes from Lahaina and Kaanapali resorts and 20 minutes from Kihei, Makena and Wailea resorts. Surf lessons are held 200 yards west of Ukumehame Park, across from mile marker 12 on the highway.
Advanced surfing lessons are held on the infamous North Shore of Maui when the waves and wind are right. Two days before your lesson, Zack will choose specific surf locations depending on the surf forecast to ensure an optimal experience and will give you detailed directions.
